It has one large heart shaped leaf and darling little white bell shaped flowers that grow out of the stock. I had it posted awhile back. Just the leaves as the flowers come a little later. It covers the floor of my wooded areas. Yours is so colorful. I used to order from them and was happy with what I got. I wish I could remember their name, but I think if you go to herbs and wildflowers their name will come up. I think it started with an L.

We must be getting all your rain. I used to dig them up when we had our cottage in Wisconsin and bring them back to my yard. I only dug them from my own property or on a lot where a bulldozer was going in to build a cottage. The problem with a shade garden is there are not many flowering plants. One of my favorites is by now a very large maidenhair fern that I will take a pic of one day and post.

I looked up twinflower on google and it is good as low as zone 3 and we are almost 6 and flowers from June until Sept. I will start looking for it at the nurseries and let you know if I find it.

Hugs

FredaBFredaBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08000510495713705938noreply@blogger.com
