Stuff piled in the corner of the studio.
Stuff filling the work bench area in the shed.
Stuff filling all the shelves in the shed.
I'm not even showing you the stuff stacked against the walls in the bedrooms and closets. How could anybody have so much stuff? But, hey, the studio tables and chairs are there... I can bead! No gripes at all... progress is being made.
Thanks to those of you have have called, written and/or left supportive comments. It helps me and encourages me... I appreciate you for it more than I know how to say.
Congratulations on the move and with the beginning of a new creative work. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I can use a little extra luck ;>}
DeleteMoving is an opportunity to get rid of the stuff we do not need and discover the stuff that has been hidden amongst our belongings. Enjoy the process.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right! Thanks for the reminder to enjoy the process... sometimes it's so overwhelming, I forget.
DeleteHA! It's fun seeing all those boxes waiting to get organized ... happy to add any encouragement I can ... because when it's all put away & ready for action WE ARE ALL COMING OVER TO BEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [wink wink wink]
ReplyDeleteANY time... I'll gladly put off getting organized to bead with you!
DeleteOh my you look so organized with your neat boxes etc.
ReplyDeleteI am curious to see what great inspiration you will get from your new studio!
Looks are deceiving... I didn't take time to label most of them... big mistake.
DeleteI'm curious too.
Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...I'm sure you will come out on the other side for the better. I laughed when you say 'how can anyone have so much stuff'. I am planning a move in about a year and dread the thought of moving all my stuff. I have a 4 bedroom home (I live by myself with my dog) and 2 of those rooms are just my craft stuff. I always joke that I could open up a craft store right in my own home. I also joke that I am a little bit of a craft hoarder. But hey we need all this stuff to create. Right? Anyways, welcome to your new home.
ReplyDeleteI like thinking of it as swimming, because I like to swim! Thanks!
DeleteBeading has you back! WONDERFUL!!!
ReplyDelete(It's always nice to see that there are more stash- and book-junkies in the world than just yourself - makes you feel kind of sane.)
Stash'n'book junkie... Ah ha... you got me on that one! LOL
DeleteI am in phase three at the moment of moving my mum closer to us following a stroke (phase one sell holiday bungalow in Wales, phase two buy bungalow near us, phase three move stuff across and finally phase four to sell family home ). I am just about to get quotes for moving all my mum's things to her new home near us. She has lived in the house for over fifty years so i think a zillion boxes will be needed. Hope our boxes will look as neat as yours! Beading is my oasis is calm and your inspiration in getting me started has been a real blessing. Heartfelt thanks:)
